Focus
This program provides managers and executives with a realistic but safe business environment for learning how they lead, influence and manage within the context of an organization. Participants encounter difficult decisions under pressure and crisis to discover how their leadership and management style impacts their organization, those they work with, and their own success. This compact, activity enriched program teaches effective leadership, focusing on personal awareness and growth, working relationships, influence skills, and conflict resolution. The Global System of Management is used to learn to effectively plan, organize, develop key productivity measures and execute. This management system provides the tools to formalize goals and ensure successful controllable results.
Results
During this program, participants:
· Learn the differences and direct connection between leadership and management and the importance of equal growth.
· Learn how to effectively lead an organization through change.
· Receive a thorough appraisal of their leadership and management attributes from a wide range of peers, direct reports, indirect reports, supervisor, respected outside influences and other professional colleagues in the program.
· Participants review the results of an in depth behavior assessment tool that measures a wide range of personal and professional behaviors critical for executive success.
· Improve their ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
· Gain additional insights to organizational change and the impact on productivity.
· Learn to improve the performance of their work groups by better understanding human interaction and individual motivators.
· Will enhance their personal effectiveness through prudent processes that improve follow through, task prioritization and delegation with accountability.
· Set long and short term goals and specific action plans that can be implemented the first day back at work.
· The Global system will enable each participant to take back and implement a system of Goals and Results. Additionally a consistent and powerful planning process will allow each participant to be assured that they are proactive to change versus reactive.
Follow Up And Performance Coaching
The following will occur:
· A 15 page follow up report with the goals, plans and strategies from performance workshop will be delivered to the participant and manager/partner in separate one-hour follow up coaching sessions approximately two to three weeks following the program to ensure implementation of the goals and action plans.
· The manager or partner of the participant will also receive the comparative analysis of Leadership and Management Appraisal for optimum coaching, mentoring and support for the participant.
· A second appraisal is sent out to the manager for progress on the participant three months after the workshop.(Progress Update I)
· A one-year follow up team assessment is done to determine progress of long term goals and Leadership/Management effectiveness. (Progress Update II)
